In the 400 meters, Olympic Champion Merritt, celebrated his 23rd birthday with a world best-equalling time of 44.50 seconds, winning by a hefty 0.43 seconds.
Olympic gold and silver medalist Crawford won his fourth National Championship in the 200 meter dash, crushing the field by a whopping 0.27 seconds.
In contrast to the 400 and 200 meter dashes, the 110 meter hurdles final was a remarkably close finish, with two-time Olympic silver medalist Trammell finishing second by only 3/1000 of a second.
Merritt, Crawford and Trammell will all compete in the World Track and Field Championships in Berlin in August.
